Waffle Cloth

This was another unfinished project from last summer.  My first attempt at knitting a cloth using dishcloth cotton.  All that remained to be done was to knit the top border and tie off the yarn, but it is amazing how long it took me to complete it.  I didn't use a pattern ~ just an idea from a photo that I had seen on the internet.

VERY pretty result, Marie! Love the soft cream-oatmeal color of the cotton. Have you tried using it? I love using cotton knit cloths in the kitchen, and for shower time--very soft against the skin. Happy Days, my friend :o) ((HUGS))

Well this falls under Make do and Mend. Finishing up things laying around is part of my challenge to myself. So you could join in after all and finish things laying around. I have so many that it makes my head spin at times. Then you see something new and exciting and start it too. I do not knit but think your knitting looks so well done.

Another item you have knitted without a pattern! I wouldn't know where to start - it looks quite complicated too:)

Heidi is my daughter, and she wanted me to see this dishcloth you made and wants me to make some for her. She always wins, so she probably will get some.
Your bread looks so good. I enjoyed seeing your blog.

Hello Marie,

Lovely cloth! I love the texture the waffle pattern lends. Very pretty Marie.

Thank you so much for the well wishes during my little sick time, made for a much nicer day.:o)

Happy weekend to you dear friend.
