Recently Ginny at Sweet Myrtle posted about autumn colour and she encouraged other bloggers to join her in celebrating the colour orange, which surrounds us at this time of the year.

Last week, I made another visit to Mary's Yarns in Unionville for some advice regarding a knitting project that I am working on.  The trees were ablaze in all of their autumn glory and a few of the homes have pumpkins on the porch.

I loved the sight of this spectacular maple.  More photos to come in the next post from our recent trip up north.  Enjoy your weekend.

*sigh*... these photos are absolutely GORGEOUS, Marie! Such dazzling colors. Autumn here hasn't be so magical of color--wind, rain & early cold have been subtly "ruining" the autumn glory a bit. Lots of yellow and brown, no real, true golden, rust or burnished shades happening... Ah, well...Can't have it all, all the time, I suppose! Thank you for this visual treat... Happy Weekend, my friend :o) ((BIG HUGS))

Wonderful seasonal colours in your photos - love the pumpkins - we've grown some in our garden this year but they are more yellow than orange. I've been reading your previous post - congratulations on getting all your qualifications this year and I hope a position turns up for you very soon so that you can use your skills.
