Sew Fabulous Fabric

From the moment I opened the cover of Sew Fabulous Fabric, I knew that I was going to love this book. The authors Alice Butcher and Ginny Farquhar are known for their craft business Folkydokee, now known as Alice & Ginny and Ginny's blog, The Flour Loft.

Their book is filled with wonderfully inspirational projects with clear instructions and great photographs and descriptions of how to create them. Helpfully, they also suggest alternative options which stimulate the imagination and open up a world of possibilities.

I spent a couple of evenings reading through the book and longing to rush out on a shopping trip to find some thrift shop bargain fabrics. Next time I see a wonderful garment in the wrong size, I will know what to do with it.

A big thank you to Alice and Ginny for sharing their creativity and inspiring me to make fabric more a part of my life: the sewing machine is going to see a lot more use from now on.

This looks like a fun book. I wish they would show a few examples of the projects in it on Amazon. Have to check out the blog...
