Autumn Glory

We have had some fabulous weather during the last few days. It has felt more like spring than autumn. I went for a walk yesterday afternoon and enjoyed the warm breeze and the sunshine: crunching through the leaves underfoot brings out the child in me. Long may this glorious autumn continue.

You may remember this character from a previous post. It won't be many weeks before it looks like this again!

Oooh, don't you get the urge to kick up a pile of leaves as high as you can? I remember walking through leaves and making as much noise and motion as possible. Or going to my grandmother's with my brothers and sister to rake her yard after which we were allowed to jump in the mountain of leaves before bagging them up for my father to take away. Work was never so fun as raking the leaves. :)

Thanks for taking me down memory lane.

Hi Marie. I don't know why it is that I almost forgot you had this blog as well as your business blog. I only ever normally visit that one. I will add this one as a link on my blog too. Glad you've been enjoying so lovely autumn weather. It has been dull, damp and miserable here all week but we finally have beautiful autumn sunshine today. Hope your snow doesn't arrive too quickly. Have a great weekend. Fiona x
