Today is Thanksgiving here in Canada: a time to reflect on life's many blessings and to give thanks for the harvest.

It is a glorious day with beautiful sunshine and warm temperatures of 24 C. An afternoon walk offered an opportunity to catch a glimpse of the changing colours of autumn. The colours have not changed significantly here in the city, but this shrub was certainly putting on a magnificent display.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Canadian readers.

Hope you enjoyed your thanksgiving day. Lovely colours - shame they go so quickly.
