Reflections

A walk by Lake Ontario offers an opportunity to pause and stare into the distance: to watch the ripples on the water and crunch across the gravel/shingle on the shore. In the distance there is the Toronto skyline which is dominated by the CN Tower.

The scene is peaceful; the day already warm although a breeze coming off the water makes it a pleasant place to be.

I decided to practise my photography and try a couple of artistic shots.

The light is very bright and even with sunglasses, I find myself squinting. It is almost impossible to see the scene through the camera viewer, so I aim in the general direction and hope for the best! With high U.V. readings, even on cloudy days; it is all too easy to get sunburn ~ remember to apply sunscreen before venturing outdoors.

Hi Marie!
What wonderful photos. It looks beautiful there by the lake. I remember visiting Toronto many years ago.

Thank you so much for the email you sent which really touched me. I will be emailing you back later. For now, I just want you to know how I love 'visiting' with you here.

Hugs ~
